Through age fertility statistics, researchers can tell if females are having children at younger ages in a certain period of time or at older ages. Age fertility findings can help governments create age-specific programs to help educate those groups about child raising.

Researchers use fertility rates as a means to help a society predict the resources they will need in the future. With these statistics, programs can be specifically designed to educate and assist families who have children.
